community involvement

Camille Murphy recently taught an eight week training program for The New Haven Regional Contractors’ Alliance. The program, Financial Boot Camp for Contractor’s was developed by Camille designed specifically for owners of contracting businesses, and taught the core skills necessary to understand accounting, taxes, and the requirements of running a business. At the end of the program the class honored Camille with a plaque as a token of their appreciation for her time and dedication. Walter Esdaile, Director of the Alliance and the sponsor of the program had this to say of Bailey Murphy + Scarano’s involvement:
“I wanted to thank you for making our training course possible. It was a tremendous success and Camille was outstanding. She had a great friendly feel about her in the classroom and with the student-contractors. As an instructor, she was very effective and they loved her. I thank you for initiating the idea to use your firm. I especially appreciate the fact that BMS donated their services for the 8 week class. This provided a significant financial boost for the Contractors' Alliance. We don't charge our contractors for the any of the training programs that we provide. The firm's contribution will allow us to produce additional, much needed training courses this year. Thanks again for making all of this a great experience.”
